Meet The Team
DAWN LYMAN
President
Dawn became involved in Angel Kisses after her sons, Cole and Dillen, were born and died at 21-1/2 weeks gestation in 2009. Her involvement with the group provided healing, great friendships and inspiration. She was a support member of the team that planned the 2010 fundraiser and has been a board member ever since. An on-again, off-again runner, Dawn was the driving force behind Angel Kisses’ first 5K race in 2011.
Dawn is a 1992 graduate of Central Michigan University and brings over 16 years of marketing expertise to the group. She is currently a marketing manager at Barton Malow Company and is working towards a Master of Public Administration at University of Michigan Dearborn.

AMY ALLEN
Co-Founder and Vice President
Amy has been involved with Angel Kisses since its inception in 2009. Initially contacted by founder, Anna LaFountain, simply to be a donor for the first fundraiser, Amy felt it was a great way to honor the angel baby she lost in 2008 and jumped in with both feet.
Amy’s background includes a BBA in Marketing from EMU, as well as several years of corporate experience doing marketing, PR and event planning.
Today Amy is a stay-at-home-Mom to two children with a rainbow baby on the way. She also runs her own art business, making letters and other decorations for babies and kids’ rooms.

LEAH MONTEITH
Treasurer
Leah joined Angel Kisses in time for the 2nd Annual Fundraiser in memory of her first baby, Mara Louise, who was stillborn at 38 weeks in February 2009. She was excited to find an organization to use some of her energy in a positive way and help other families who have to face a similar tragedy. Leah brings 6 years of Supply Chain Management experience to the group.
Leah was born and raised in Dexter, MI. She and her husband now live in Royal Oak with their son Owen and two Cavalier Spaniels. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management. She currently has her hands full with a lively little boy whom she is blessed to be able to stay home with.

TRACY ROBERTS
Co-Founder and Secretary
Tracy has been involved with Angel Kisses since its beginning in January, 2009. Tracy met Anna during the “Looking Ahead” support group at Royal Oak Beaumont and was excited to honor her boys, Tristen and Theodore whom she lost in 2008.
Tracy’s background includes a fantastic husband of 10+ years, Daughter, Teagan, rainbow baby Aiken, and a Master’s Degree from Northern Michigan University in Special Education. She currently teaches middle school. In her free-time, she loves camping, hiking, spending time with her family, and knitting.

JEFFERY & NICOLE THOMAS
Web Designers
Jeffery and Nicole met Tracy at the “Looking Ahead” support group at Beaumont Hospital, after their twins Benjamin and Ava were born and passed away at 18 weeks gestation in February of 2011. Tracy asked if they would be interested in redesigning the Angel Kisses website, and they happily agreed.
Jeff is a software developer, and Nicole is a graphic designer. They both maintain full time jobs, but in addition they make up NLT Designs, a graphic and web design business. Working with Angel Kisses has been a healing experience for both of them, helping them to give back and to channel their grief into something positive.

ANNA LA FOUNTAIN
Founder
In September of 2008, Anna lost her beloved first born, Scarlette Rose. This devastating loss dramatically affected her life but Anna was determined to do something positive in the face of this tragedy. Anna decided to raise money for the “A Child Remembered Program” at Beaumont Hospital, which had been a tremendous comfort to her during her bereavement journey. With the help of two other grieving moms, her idea was transformed into a successful fundraiser and a lasting initiative to help others who suffer similar perinatal losses. Scarlette’s due date would have been February 17, 2009. On February 21st, the amazing moms that founded Angel Kisses hosted their first fundraiser, which raised nearly $6000! As Angel Kisses continues to grow and evolve, Anna’s vision and Scarlette’s spirit are a constant guiding influence to the work that the organization does.
